About Us

Iowa Holsteins are making a name for themselves in the Holstein industry. Daughters are placing competitively in state, regional and national shows. Production records are also turning more than a few heads.

A number of highly-regarded sons originated from Iowa herds. Sire services are increasingly beating a path to Iowa's door. Embryos and daughters are sold worldwide, commanding top dollar as a result of their recognized quality and genetic potential.

The Iowa Holstein Association was organized in 1886 and is 516 members strong. The mission of the Iowa Holstein Association is to act concurrently with the National Association in the promotion and development of registered Holstein cattle. (Adopted by the Iowa Holstein Association Board of Directors, March 15, 2003)
